Marko from Macedonia will be speaking on June 3!

We have enjoyed our opportunity to work with an exchange student from Macedonia this semester. His name is Marko and he has been staying with the Madsen family here in Seymour. Marko has been volunteering his time at the library on Wednesday evenings. We have enjoyed his exuberant personality, his eagerness to learn and share, and his helpfulness. He stopped by early in the semester to offer his assistance and he told us that he wanted to learn about a small, rural library in America. Cool! He is also an avid reader. It has been fun to watch him browse our books and check them out. Marko is in the course of writing his own book. He plans to attend college in Wisconsin. We wish him luck with his future endeavors. Marko will be speaking in the meeting space on Thursday, June 3 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. His presentation will be focused on both Macedonia and general Europe. We hope that you can join us for this wonderful occasion! Please talk it up with anyone who has worked with Marko or would like to meet him!
