EVERY HERO HAS A STORY! Thank you party for summer reading volunteers.

August 22, 2015 - 12:00pm - 2:00pm

A splendid volunteer thank you party

We can't run a great summer reading program without a lot of help! Thanks go out to our tremendous team of volunteers this summer! We celebrated in the backyard of the library: we played with the 8 foot beach ball from the float; Colette served snow cones; Judy served walk around tacos (thanks HOTH for the meat); and our new friends Carli and McKenna gave us henna tattoos (which was a fitting ending to a summer about multiculturalism--henna is an idea from India/Yeoman).

Local libraries everywhere benefit tremendously from the time and effort that volunteers continually give of themselves each year to their library. The Muehl Public Library has been blessed with many contributions over the years, and this year is no exception.
