This summer (2018) Seymour native Derek Hendzel was home for his high school reunion. We learned about him when we saw the drone video he took over the Burger Fest weekend. With this video he captured the amazing hot air balloon rally from a whole new perspective. He stopped by the library and we learned that he travels all over the world and lives in the Middle East. This page will be devoted to footage shared by Derek with us. We wish to learn about international countries through his eyes. We wish to dream big and think globally! Let's start with the aforementioned "cool" video!

Our community will never be the same...A group of local churches, non-profits, and individuals have joined forces with TeenServe, a non-profit corporation, to host a one-week workcamp missions trip in our area.

The 6-person crews will reside at Seymour High School and spend their days working for the elderly or others who cannot complete the work themselves. This work will include interior and exterior painting, weatherization, drywall, and construction of steps and wheelchair ramps. There is no charge to these families for labor or materials.
