Our highly anticipated new library software was launched this week. We have had a few kinks to work out (expected!) and things are going very well OVERALL. We are so happy!
Now we can set our sights on the FMPL fall fundraiser.
We have been planning all summer. We are very excited to try a new idea of having comedian Jan McInnis from LA be our main attraction! It will be a fun evening (just like wine events and casino nights of the past) that benefits FMPL and thus the library.
You may recall the regional “Joy” conference which ran for decades under the leadership of Karen Dickrell. This was the seed for our idea to highlight humor. Laughter is, indeed, good medicine! Karen gave us her back file to seek talent and here we are!
