Wonderful patron & artist Mary Pat VanSchyndel

Our library star is Mary Pat VanSchyndel! She came to the library a few years ago and asked if she could display her quilts at our library. She rotates them on a monthly basis.

We are tight on space but when we asked her where this would happen she told us she had just the spot! She found a wall in the library entry and she installed a rod on it for us to hang her quilts.

They are beautiful and they have been a conversation starter and inspiration for our patrons. Thank you, thank you Mary Pat. Here is an example of one of her quilts. This is a patriotic one. Beautiful!
