DESCRIPTION:\nThis is our TENTH toy sleepover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\nWhat is a toy sleepover? It is when kids of all ages drop off their toys at the library to stay for the weekend. The toys explore the library and make new friends.\nWhen is the toy sleepover? For UNEARTH A STORY the toy sleepover is Friday July 31 through Monday August 3, 2026. Kids drop off their toys by July 31 and pick them back up beginning on August 3.\nWhat do I have to do? You are invited to fill out a permission slip for each toy that you drop off. These permission slips are on the counter at the library.\nWhat else can I do? If you want to pack a suitcase for your toy you can do this. Inside you can pack pajamas and a toothbrush and stuff such as those.\nHow do I know what my toy is doing? Pictures of the toys’ activities are posted to the library FB page all weekend long. Then on Monday, August 3 (for story time) there will be a slide show presented of the same pictures which were posted on FB.\nCan you give an example of an activity? Yes! Here is a picture from toy sleepover 2024 where all the toys were checking out the reading tent.\n \n
