Muehl Public Library receives 2024 East Asia in Wisconsin Library Project grant!

The EAST ASIA IN WISCONSIN LIBRARY PROGRAM is brought to you by the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Center for East Asian Studies, a unit within the Institute for Regional and International Studies. This program is supported with federal funding from the U.S. Department of Education Title VI National Resource Center program, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Library Services team and the Cooperative Children’s Book Center (CCBC)

Our library is a 2024 recipient of this grant. We have purchased 13 books about North Korea which will be available in Infosoup. In 2022 we were also a recipient of this grant. At that time we purchased materials about Tibet. We are very grateful for these opportunities! The designer of the bookplate is our very own Colette Bezio.

Here are the 13 selections that will be added to Infosoup due to this funding. The books will be available to all Infosoup patrons!
