A student studies abroad and thanks the library for sparking her interest!

Our library star is Kylee Smet. She stopped into the library on August 28, 2024 after spending six months in Japan! She brought treats for the librarians. She also brought a postcard with some very special words on it. She described how attending anime afternoons at the library was part of getting her interested in Japan. We are so proud to be a part of Kylee’s learning journey. She is a special person to come and tell us about her trip and the place we have in her heart! Keep being great Kylee! She is fluent in Japanese, by the way!
