Libraries and public health work together for the betterment of their community’s health

Introducing Kristin Mielke who is our public health nurse for Outagamie County Health and Human Services. She reached out to me to set up a meeting. I gave her a tour of our library, and she dropped off items that will be distributed here at the library. Among the things that she dropped off were gun locks, medication disposal pouches, Narcan, and literature about mental health resources. Everything is better when we work together!
