We celebrated READ model educator Jill Lipp on Flag Day, 2025

Jill Lipp graduated from Seymour H.S. in 1999. She is a special education teacher at Preble High School in Green Bay and she coaches throwing events at East High School in Green Bay. She enjoys reading education books by Jon Gordon and the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. She squeezes reading in anywhere that she can!

Why does Jill read? Because it allows her to expand her knowledge in the field of education; to grow in personal learning; and to escape to her own world when needing a break.

What is Jill’s life philosophy? “Be the best version of yourself and never stop growing and learning. You’ve got one life to live so be brave, have a sense of humor, and go after it.”

We are grateful for our decades long collaboration with Countryside Photography and proprietor/award winning photographer Steve Kemp!

Thanks to guests who humored the librarian and filled out postcards for the library advocacy program, STAND UP FOR LIBRARIES!
